今日は撮影はひとまず休み！
学校の体育館を貸し切ってのチャリティーフリーマーケットに参加してきました。
ウィスラーという小さな町にこんなにも多くの日本人が居て、しかも同じ気持ちで動いている。
嬉しい驚きです。
ただのフリーマーケットという訳ではなくて、パフォーマーさんがライブやダンス、紙芝居などで会場を盛り上げていました。子供達の無邪気な笑顔は最高ですね。
この動画は、東北で活動するフォトグラファー、A×G×O JUN、Hi-6、ZIZOちゃん、そして東北ローカルのみんなが、すばらしい写真を提供してくれて作ることができました。大変ななか協力してくれて感謝。カナダの人にもそうでない人にも東北の魅力・日本の魅力を知ってもらえたら嬉しいです。
We took today off and we all went to join the charity flea market at the school in Whistler.
In Whistler, many Japanese live there and work together. They are all concerned about the issues going on in Japan.
It was a great surprise to see how many people came together.
This event wasn’t just a flea market but various artists pumped up with their performances such as live music, dancing or picture-story shows. Kids’ innocent smiles are the best.
The movie was made with photos taken by a Tohoku based photographers A×G×O JUN, Hi-6, ZIZO and some Tohoku locals. I really appreciate their cooperation in such a hard time. I hope it conveys the Tohoku and Japan’s attraction to not only the Canadian people but also the others people who attended.
HEARTの皆は会場設営や、それぞれがギアを持ち寄ってライダーテーブル（売り場）を担当。
みんな張り切ってがんばってくれていました！

ライダーテーブルの合計金額は何と$1107.68！
予想以上に集まってびっくり。。。
イベントの合計収益は今日一日だけで１１，０８０カナダドルの募金が集まったそうです。
この額に今回のイベントのスポンサーであるScotiabankから同額の寄付をしてもらい、
総額２２，１６０カナダドル（日本円換算で約１８４万円）を義援金として東北地方太平洋沖地震で被災した方々の救援費用、及び復興支援金として送ることが出来ることになりました。
ライダーを始め、レストラン、カフェ、個人など関係なく、みんなが何か日本の為にできないかと動いて初日が成功したのが嬉しいです。
この収益は全額しっかりと日本へ送らせてもらいます。
少しでも多く必要な人達へ届きますように、、、

Everybody brought their own gear and did great!
The total amount reached was $1107.68!!
It was beyond our expectations!
The event’s whole proceeds was CDN$11,080.00 in one day.
Adding to this amount, the event sponsor – Scotiabank – matched the same amount, so the flea market alone raised CDN$22,160.00 in total. It will be sent to Japan to help the victims for the reconstruction support and relief from the earthquake.
I was really glad to see that the first day of the movement was led successfully by the riders, restaurants, coffee shops and individuals.
Tomorrow, the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa will hold the Japan Relief Fundraiser. There will be a silent auction so it will be more pumped up!
The proceeds of this event will also be sent to Japan.
This will be some real help for the people in need.
